Dental Veneers Boston MA | Cosmetic Dentist

Cosmetic Dentist Boston | Mayani Dental Group provides cosmetic dental veneers for patients in Boston, MA and the nearby areas. Cosmetic veneers involve the placement of a thin, wafer-like veneer on the surface of the teeth. Cosmetic dental veneers are an ideal solution for enhancing the appearance of the teeth without the need for surgery. Learn more about this excellent cosmetic procedure below.

Who needs dental veneers?

The cosmetic dentist uses porcelain veneers that are specifically designed to be placed over the tooth’s surface to improve its appearance. It can alter the length, size, shape, and color of the tooth. There are many instances in which porcelain veneers can enhance the appearance of the teeth.

Dental veneers can help with:

  • Chipped or broken teeth
  • Uneven or misaligned teeth
  • Irregularly shaped teeth
  • Worn down teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Teeth with craters, bulges, or gaps

Dental veneers are not typically placed during the first initial visit. Instead, the dentist will provide an analysis and diagnosis for effective treatment planning. During this time, you can explain your goals and objectives for the procedure to your dentist. X-rays may be taken as well as impressions of the teeth. The cosmetic dentist will assure that your veneers will improve your dental goals.

Porcelain dental veneers can dramatically improve a patient’s smile and provide the revitalized appearance they are looking for. Our cosmetic dentist provides the placement of porcelain veneers in our local dental office in Boston, MA. Give us a call for more information or to schedule an appointment today.

What Your Dental Team Is Doing to Keep You Healthy

Dear Mayani Dental family:

The health and well-being of our patients is our top priority, now and always. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are closely following and adhering to precautions advised by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

We want to assure you that we are taking continuous steps to ensure that our office remains a safe place for every patient. It’s important for you to know that dentists are experts in infection control. For instance, we have been trained to prevent the spread of infectious diseases such as flu, HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis and all viral diseases. The precautions we take every day will also help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

We follow precautions developed by the CDC to protect both health care personnel and patients. We sterilize all instruments at 375°F after each use and clean each dental operatory after each patient visit, using surface disinfectants that kill all known infectious diseases, including coronavirus. We utilize dedicated hand wash and one-time use disposable materials which help maintain a safe environment for our patients. Our staff is regularly trained in these procedures.

Working with our facility managers, we’ve ensured that our cleaning team has a sufficient stock of supplies. We have asked them to apply additional focus and time on cleaning door handles, faucets, and other items with high-traffic hand touches. Magazines in our waiting areas are also a risk from frequent contact, so they have been removed.

Seeing your dentist is a vital investment for your general health. Our office remains open to care for our patients following the above guidelines. If you have a fever, are exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, or have had recent contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you may be a risk to other patients or staff members. If you are experiencing fever (greater than 100.4), cough, or shortness of breath, please remain at home and contact your primary care physician immediately.

Remember, the best way to protect yourself and your community is with everyday preventative actions, like washing hands often and disinfecting surfaces regularly. These actions will help minimize and slow the spread of the coronavirus.
