ClearCorrect Boston MA

ClearCorrect straightens your teeth using clear aligners as opposed to traditional metal braces. Similar to other competitors, ClearCorrect uses custom-made aligners to gradually shift your teeth in the correct position. Each aligner is used for 3 weeks at a time before graduating to a new aligner. Your new smile could be ready in 1 to 2 years.

What can ClearCorrect treat?

This system can treat the following orthodontic issues:

  • Teeth crowding
  • Unnatural teeth spacing
  • Overbites
  • Underbites
  • Crooked or rotated teeth

ClearCorrect is ideal for teenagers and adults. We will examine your dental and mouth structure to determine if this system is ideal for you. If so, we will take impressions, images, and dental X-rays to send to the ClearCorrect laboratory. They use a 3D model to make a copy of your mouth and custom make your aligners.

How does ClearCorrect work?

The system includes 4 phases of treatment. Each phase requires a different set of aligners to be used for 3 weeks. Wear your aligners all the time except while eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Be sure to brush your teeth after each meal to avoid bacterial buildup. We will evaluate your progress with routine follow-up visits and answer any questions you may have. These aligners are almost invisible which makes them preferred over traditional braces. Also, more patients are choosing these aligners due to its effectiveness and relatively lower cost.

How many aligners will I need?

Your treatment will vary as everyone’s smile is unique. Depending on your needs, ClearCorrect provides the following options.

  • Unlimited: Patient is provided with as many aligners needed
  • Limited 12: Patient receives 12 sets of aligners
  • Limited 6: Patient receives 6 sets of aligners

What Your Dental Team Is Doing to Keep You Healthy

Dear Mayani Dental family:

The health and well-being of our patients is our top priority, now and always. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are closely following and adhering to precautions advised by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

We want to assure you that we are taking continuous steps to ensure that our office remains a safe place for every patient. It’s important for you to know that dentists are experts in infection control. For instance, we have been trained to prevent the spread of infectious diseases such as flu, HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis and all viral diseases. The precautions we take every day will also help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

We follow precautions developed by the CDC to protect both health care personnel and patients. We sterilize all instruments at 375°F after each use and clean each dental operatory after each patient visit, using surface disinfectants that kill all known infectious diseases, including coronavirus. We utilize dedicated hand wash and one-time use disposable materials which help maintain a safe environment for our patients. Our staff is regularly trained in these procedures.

Working with our facility managers, we’ve ensured that our cleaning team has a sufficient stock of supplies. We have asked them to apply additional focus and time on cleaning door handles, faucets, and other items with high-traffic hand touches. Magazines in our waiting areas are also a risk from frequent contact, so they have been removed.

Seeing your dentist is a vital investment for your general health. Our office remains open to care for our patients following the above guidelines. If you have a fever, are exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, or have had recent contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you may be a risk to other patients or staff members. If you are experiencing fever (greater than 100.4), cough, or shortness of breath, please remain at home and contact your primary care physician immediately.

Remember, the best way to protect yourself and your community is with everyday preventative actions, like washing hands often and disinfecting surfaces regularly. These actions will help minimize and slow the spread of the coronavirus.
